The original Premier wine store opened in 1943 in Kenmore, NY has now expanded to have the largest square footage of wine and spirits sales space in the country, since moving to the new wine store (Amherst) location in 2012. Wines from every major wine-producing country are available, as are premier spirits -- the store boasts one of the largest selections of artisan brands and old favorites.
With smaller boutiques within the store featuring staff picks by country, varietal or wine type, highly-rated wines, food-pairing selections and special buys, the vast selection of products becomes easy and fun to shop. Meanwhile, aisle locations organized by country allow customers to browse the Premier wine store more thoroughly.

In the early 1990s, in the spirit of the original Premier wine shop run by his father, Mark Notarius opened a new Premier location on Transit Road. With this new Premier wine stop, Williamsville residents now had access to the same Premier selection and service in their neighborhood. The Transit Road Premier spirits shop carries on the Premier wines tradition of offering a wide selection of premium wines and spirits from around the world. This location is particularly famous for single-malt Scotches — both in the value category and rarer, limited-edition bottlings — one of the best selections in the country!
