Special precautions we're taking to keep our customers and employees safe
As the situation locally continues to change in response to the developing coronavirus pandemic, we wanted to let you know that we're still open and that we're taking every precaution to limit the spread of the disease.
Adhering to the best practices laid out by the CDC, state, and local governments, we've taken the following precautionary measures to protect our customers and employees:
We're offering curbside pickup on all in-store pickup orders placed on Premier Group websites. However, we're under-staffed to help prevent spread of the disease, so orders are taking longer than an hour to fulfill.
Once you receive notification that your order is ready, you can come to the store and call us, and a staff member will bring the order out to your car.
We're offering free local delivery on orders over $150 to certain nearby neighborhoods. Most orders are delivered within 24-48 hours. Please note that the order must be $150 after any discounts and before taxes, and from an included zip code, for the free local delivery option to appear on our websites.
We're operating under reduced staffing as per recommendations by the state to reduce the number of people in our physical stores at any time. Additionally, we're spacing out checkout where possible so that there is an unused register between each open register line. We're also asking customers to maintain a safe distance between themselves and the next person in line.
The state has lifted the plastic bag ban temporarily in the face of this crisis, and we're recommending that customers use plastic instead of renewable so that our cashiers aren't handling renewable bags and potentially spreading germs. If a customer must use a renewable bag, we ask that they bag their own purchases.
Sanitizing wipes are available at the front of each Premier Group store to wipe down and disinfect carts and baskets when you enter the store.
Premier Group employees are asked to wash their hands once or more per hour with soap and water, and avoid touching their faces at all costs. We're also trying to sanitize/disinfect the checkout area as often as possible.
Our stores are on limited hours to give our staff to do a thorough cleaning and disinfecting every night. Hours are now as follows:
