An attractive nose of minerals, ripe red and blue fruit and touches of violets, black olives and stones. The palate is smooth and juicy, with a medium body and lively fruit in the middle. Balanced and focused. Drink or hold.

The 2024 Toscana Rosso is a blend of 80% Sangiovese and the rest Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged in stainless steel without oak and is bright. I enjoy the appealing herbal spice that the Cabernet Sauvignon contributes to the wine, and it has a very nice balance, taking things up a notch. It has bright red fruit and hints of blackberry, with light herbal notes that frame the wine. Drink 2026-2030.
