This is deep and dark-fruited with toasted spices, smoked cedar, nut shell and earth. Full-bodied, and compact with juicy acidity and polished tannins. Deep and lengthy fruit character with notes of blueberry jam. A little chewy at the end. A blend of 70% zinfandel, 20% petite sirah, 7% syrah and 3% grenache. Drink or hold. (James Suckling)

Roasted boysenberry and charred beef aromas pull the nose into this always likably bottling. Ripe strawberry flavors meet with herb touches on the palate. (Matt Kettmann)
