The 2022 Santenay Les Charrons, raised in between 15% to 20% new oak, has a well-defined bouquet of brioche commingling with apple blossom and light orange pith scents. The palate is well-balanced with a surfeit of tropical fruit on the entry: orange pith, passion fruit and mango, more lime with aeration. There is an underlying tanginess towards the finish, completing a white Santenay that will be very difficult to resist.
