The 2022 Fattoria Paradiso Barbarossa "Lo Spungone" is a distinctive, organic red wine produced in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy under the Forlì IGT classification. Made from the rare and obscure Barbarossa grape variety. The light to medium bodied wine strikes a unique balance between vibrant fruit concentration and Earthy complexity with expressive aromas of bright, juicy red fruits (such as raspberry, cranberry, and red cherry) alongside savory kitchen herbs and distinct mineral undertones with prominent, high acidity and lively, approachable tannins. Serving Tip: Because of its light, fresh concentration and high acidity, this red is versatile enough to be served slightly chilled.

Fattoria Paradiso is situated on a sunny hillock near the medieval city of Bertinoro, in Emilia Romagna. Intense ruby red. The nose is intense with notes of black cherry and mulberry, followed by nuances of anise and licorice. On the palate the wine is warm and harmonious. Great softness with silky texture tannin and freshness. • It pairs with roasted meat, lamb, and game.
