The color of red rose petals, this opens with bundles of herbs and spices, but they don't drown out the brambly red berry fruit. Dried autumn leaves and a bit of oak show, too. The palate is light to medium bodied with spicy tannins and juicy fruit. There's a slight bitterness here but overall this is a solid cold-climate Pinot.
