Tasting Notes
Opaque dark purple-black in color. The nose is intensely aromatic and explosive, bursting with scents of ripe cassis, dark plum preserves, and wild crushed blackberries, accompanied by cracked black pepper, smoked meats, dried violet, and crushed chalky limestone. Full-bodied, broad, and deeply textured on the palate, it delivers a massive core of dark berry fruit framed by firm, silken tannins and energetic acidity, lingering into a long, complex, and savory finish.

More black fruits, peppered game, graphite, and chocolate notes emerge from the 2020 Honey Bunny, a big, rich, meaty Syrah that has a great core of fruit, savory yet quality tannins, good mid-palate density, and a great finish. It's beautifully done and certainly a success in the vintage.
