Lucious and beautiful in a slightly sweeter style, this Chenin Blanc from Vouvray in the Loire Valley is made in an off-dry and somewhat richer style. Golden, straw yellow in color with bright citrus, acacia blossom and fresh almonds on the nose. Clean up front with a broad mid-palate, waxed pear and a long and savory finish. This wine goes beautifully with freshwater and river fish, seafood, creamy soups and pasta with creamy sauces.
