Ravines Agricolāe Dry Riesling 2021 750ml

A bright golden color, this now five year old bottling, from a top Seneca Lake producer, is showing some honeyed, mushroom notes from age, combined with orchard fruit and floral characters. In spite of the perceived richness of color and aroma, it's a bone dry wine with a lovely line of vibrant acidity, texture and minerality. There's complexity that makes for beautiful drinking now, but that should only amplify with more time in bottle. Cellar up to another decade.
