About This Wine
Tasting Notes
Pale ruby-garnet in color. Intensely aromatic with notes of tart red cherry, cranberry, pressed violets, and a subtle crushed-slate minerality. Light-to-medium-bodied on the palate, presenting vibrant red berry fruit layered with hints of clove, dried herbs, and earth. Supported by silky, fine-grained tannins and a crisp, mouthwatering acidity that carries through a long, elegant finish.
Producer Notes
Crafted by Morten and Lisa Hallgren of Ravines Wine Cellars, the Agricolāe label pays tribute to the dedicated vineyard workers who tend the vines year-round. Sourced from high-density, steep hillside estate plots on Keuka and Seneca Lakes, this cool-climate Pinot Noir highlights the mineral-rich shale soils and long growing season of the Finger Lakes. Hand-harvested and crafted in a classic Old World style, it emphasizes bright acidity, delicate floral nuances, and structural balance over heavy extraction.
