Alta Vista Alta Vista Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 750ml

This appealing Cabernet is fruit-focused and has lovely aromas of red berries. The smooth palate brings dried herbs, flint and strawberries supported by soft tannins.

The 2022 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon leads with a red-fruited, herbal bouquet gently bolstered by toasted, creamy undertones. The wine follows suit in the mouth with a velvety yet vibrant palate, closing with a refined, grippy and focused finish.

The 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was produced with grapes from Campo de los Andes and fermented in concrete with 50% of the volume matured in used oak barrels for one year. This is ripe without excess at 14% alcohol, and it has varietal character and is easy to drink. 50,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2022.

Youthful and juicy in style, with a slate cast to the floral cherry and plum core. Ends with firming mineral-tinged tannins and hints of bitter cocoa. Drink now. 3,000 cases imported.
