Sourced from Calchaqui and Cafayate, the 2022 Terroir Selection Malbec Salta was destemmed and fermented in a mix of stainless tank and concrete pools and matured for 12 months in first-, second- and third-use barrels. It leads with a distinctly spice-driven bouquet of incense, cracked pepper and dried herbs. The palate is silky, racy and elegant before concluding with a powerful, rich and creamy finish. This is a lovely and exotic counterpoint to the Terroir Selection Malbec bottling from Mendoza.
