Alto Alto Estate Blend 2016 750ml

A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2016 Estate Blend begins with a dark ruby core and moderate staining of the glass. Aromas of fire-roasted red pepper, dusty black cherry, plums and blackberry sway with tones of cigar box, dried herbs and sweet tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, the wine displays a balanced structure with firm tannins ready for grilled tenderloin. It concludes with a dusty, mineral tension with elements of crème de cassis and sweet peppers. This should perform well after one more year of cellar aging. 2,500 bottled were produced.
