2017 vintage
Intense ruby color with velvety purple hue. The nose is dominated by pungent fruity notes of ripe red fruit and supple spices. The taste is very smooth with a great structure and persistent heady notes of violets on the finish. 50% Primitivo, 50%Negroamaro. Pairing Primitivo and Negroamaro is similar to pairing foods with Zinfandel. Both are great accompaniments to spicy foods, fresh tomato sauces, fresh tomato bruschetta, and grilled meats.
