Producer Notes
Bright ruby with purple hues. Aromas of redcurrants, cherry plum, raspberry compôte, vanilla and spice. Youthful palate fleshing out to show red and darker fruits, ample tannin and focus for longevity. Decant for optimal enjoyment. Blend: 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot
Critical Acclaim
There’s an easy richness to this wine, filled with pomegranate flavors and edged by cool, mineral-tinged acidity. Full and succulent, this has a note of lanolin that fattens it up and places it with lamb ribs grilled over an open fire.
The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon leads with cassis, dark chocolate and an abundance of resinous oak. The 2020 season was warm, early and low yielding and produced reds across the board with opulent tannins. Today, in 2025, the tannins have closed in on the fruit and work to obscure its flow across the palate. Staccato is more apt a descriptor at this stage.
