Bacardí Bacardi Spiced NV 1.0L

Bacardi USA enters the spiced rum market this month with the launch of Bacardi OakHeart. The 35-percent abv rum is a blend of Bacardi’s Superior and Gold rums and a variety of spices and ingredients, including maple, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey and vanilla, and is filtered using a proprietary method to retain a hint of smokiness. The rum is mellowed in double-charred barrels, resulting in a robust flavor and hints of smoke and dried fruit, with a sweet, peppery kick on the finish. Bacardi OakHeart is available nationwide.

Bacardi has entered the spiced rum segment with the introduction of Bacardi Oakheart. The new expression features a blend of Bacardi Superior and Bacardi Gold, along with the addition of select spices (maple, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, vanilla and caramel). The liquid is then filtered, resulting in a robust rum with spiciness and a variety of flavors. Oakheart is best served over ice or mixed with Coke, the company says.
