2021 vintage
The 2019 Aglianico del Vulture Terre di Orazio Is youthfully understated in the glass, showing only nuances of black currant, lavender and crushed violets. It washes across the palate with silky' textures that are quickly firmed up by a mix of saline-tinged acidity and tart wild berry fruits. The Terre di Orazio finishes lightly structured and dry, yet it leaves a purple- and blue-toned floral resonance that I find quite attractive. A short stay in the cellar should help the 2019 to further blossom. Very nice.
