Tasting Notes

Opaque black-ruby in color with a dark purple rim. The nose is massively aromatic, unfolding with powerful scents of crème de cassis, ripe black cherries, espresso bean, spring flowers, and crushed graphite, intermingled with sweet toasted oak and dark cocoa. Full-bodied, opulent, and unctuous on the palate, it exhibits a rich, layered core of concentrated dark fruits, velvety and seamless tannins, and vibrant underlying structure leading to an extraordinarily long, resonant finish.
