The 2023 Trebbiano Spoletino Spoleto is impossible to ignore. It has a whiff of tropical citrus and melon that gives way to fermented ginger and smoke. Soothingly round yet full of zesty tension, it sparks the palate with a wave of saline minerals and tart orchard fruits. Zesty acidity keeps the mouth watering for more through the long and perfumed finish, as the 2023 tapers off with incredible length yet wonderfully fresh. Fantastic.

Aromas of Mandarin orange, lemon oil, chamomile and wild herbs pour from the glass of this pretty wine. The textured, structured palate shows preserved lemon, candied orange, dried flowers, white tea and sea salt finishing with crunchy acidity. (Jeff Porter)

The 2022 Trebbiano Spoletino Spoleto opens with a honeyed richness, blending green melon with peaches and chamomile hints. It’s soft and soothing with a buzz of brisk acidity and lime as ripe orchard fruits flow across the palate.
