Critical Acclaim

RP 92 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2023 vintage Feb 27, 2025

It's a bit confusing, because the wine that was previously called Bozeto de Exopto is now the 2023 Cosecha and the wine that was called Exopto is now Expresión de Graciano. This is a blend of Tempranillo from Ábalos and Garnacha from Alfaro with a little Graciano (5%) that adds acidity and freshness. The idea here is to obtain a fruit-driven and fresh red, where the Garnacha shines, and rightly so, because it represents around 65% of the volume. It has contained ripeness, 14% alcohol and nice balance. It's juicy and tasty, with fruit flavors and almost unnoticeable, very fine tannins. The Garnacha was kept in concrete, while the Tempranillo spent six months in oak vats. 70,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024. (Luis Gutiérrez)

RP 92 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2024 vintage March 2026

The 2024 Cosecha was produced with 65% Garnacha from Alfaro and 30% Tempranillo from Ábalos complemented with 5% Graciano. It was produced in a juicy and fruit-driven style, with good ripeness, 14% alcohol and balanced acidity. It is tender and tasty, with a velvety palate. The uncrushed grapes fermented in stainless steel, concrete and oak, and the Garnacha aged in concrete and the Tempranillo in oak vats. But it's eminently a young red. 70,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2025.

JS 91 James Suckling 2021 vintage Friday, September 9, 2022

Spicy nose with some black beans, cherry compote and grilled Mediterranean herbs and spice. Fleshy and supple, with lovely cherry-pie character on the palate, rounded by fresh, juicy tannins. Not a lot of depth here, but it’s vibrant and lively. A blend of garnacha, tempranillo and graciano. Drink now.
