Critical Acclaim
Ideal for Manhattans and other cocktails, this 95% rye has a malty profile that mixes vanilla, crème brûlée, and a fleeting citrusy zing on the drying, cinnamon-accented finish.
No age statement, but it includes 4 to 7 year old whiskeys. The mashbill is 95% rye - much higher than most standard rye whiskeys out there. It’s brisk, vibrant, and loaded with spice (crisp mint, warming cinnamon, cocoa, hint of anise). Fruit - ripe nectarine, apricot, golden raisin - drizzled with maple syrup. Dry oak rounds out the finish. Bold enough for cocktails. Mature enough to drink neat (or on the rocks).

For the rye whiskey lover, Bulleit is made from 95 percent rye, aged for at least four years in char no. 4 barrels, presented in an old-school medicine bottle. A throwback whisky, its hallmark honey-coated rye bread notes blend with lemon, pepper, tarragon and dried apricots. Spicy, with a short and sweet floral finish, it would be great in a flip.
A sister product to the brand’s Bourbon, Bulleit Rye is made with a mash comprising 5-percent malted barley and 95-percent rye, one of the highest percentages of rye in an American whiskey. The 45-percent alcohol-by-volume (abv) whiskey has aromas of biscuits and cookie batter, with hints of spice, white raisins and dried apricots, complemented by flavors of maple and oak. Made with water from an ancient glacier aquifer, the rye whiskey is aged in new charred oak barrels for a minimum of four years.
Given the spicy high-rye (high-impact!) mashbill on Bulleit Bourbon, you might hear Bulleit Rye and think, “Why’d they bother?” Bulleit Rye is 95% rye and 5% malt, that’s why (and if you’ve heard those ratios before, well, keep it to yourself). There’s no age statement - the whiskey’s between 4 and 7 years old - and it’s bottled at 45% ABV.
