VN 93 Vinous 2017 vintage Mar 2022

The 2017 Gattinara II Putto is a potent Alto Piemonte red. There is plenty of depth, but the tannins are quite imposing at this stage. Time in the glass brings out shades of raspberry, orange peel, cinnamon leather and crushed flowers. This translucent, finely-knit Gattinara will benefit from a year or two in the cellar.
