The 2024 Riesling Thömicher Ritsch Auslese was made with around 40% botrytis- affected fruit that is not shriveled yet. A slight reduction mixes with passion fruit on the nose. The palate is exquisitely pure and full of peachiness. It is rounded and smooth, but on light feet, with beautiful stone fruit pervaded by the smoothest, most lemony freshness. The 2024 is absolutely elegant. <br/><br/>

The 2023 Riesling Thörnicher Ritsch Auslese comes from an extremely steep site and was the first pick of the harvest at this estate. Made from grapes with botrytized berries, it has a relatively shy nose and plunges into candied lemon zest on the palate. It remains serene and slim, with concentration but no obvious botrytized tones. This wine stays clear as a bell and shines with lemony purity.<br/><br/>
