Wow. This is really impressive, with black cherries, wet earth, violets and other flowers. Medium- to full-bodied with a dense center palate of tight yet chewy tannins. This is real Chianti Classico with complexity and verve. Very drinkable, but even better in three or four years. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Chianti Clássico Gran Selezione Castello di Bossi is fabulous. In fact, it is one of the best Chianti Clássicos I have ever tasted here. A wine of imposing structure and intensity, the 2021 stains the palate from start to finish. Wild cherry, cedar, pipe tobacco, incense and rose petal are some of the many notes that come alive. What a gorgeous and expressive wine this is.
