Bodega Catena Zapata Catena Malbec Appellation Lunlunta 2023 750ml

The 2022 Malbec Appellation Lunlunta comes from old vines planted in Lunlunta, Maipú. Aged for 13 months in French oak barrels (with approximately one-third of them being new), this purple wine reveals aromas of dried plums and cherry, with a subtly spicy layer. Rich, ample and plush on the palate, it lingers with a creamy, ripe fruit flow. This is a bold and intense Malbec driven by its terroir. (Joaquín Hidalgo)

The 2023 Malbec Appellation Lunlunta from Maipu is light purple in color, with slightly spiced aromas of white pepper against a fruity background. Dry, agile and full of flavor, this is a supple red with a plush texture. This is a rich wine, as Lunlunta's Malbecs are, that still feels young. Drink 2025-2034.
