Lifted aromatics of ripe yellow apple, white peach, roasted hazelnuts, and toasted brioche mingle with subtle Mediterranean herbs and smoked mineral nuances. On the palate, a bone-dry, creamy mousse unfolds with remarkable depth and precision, balancing rich autolytic notes of buttered pastry and dried fruit against an electric beam of mountain acidity. French oak barrel fermentation of a portion of the base wine imparts a luxurious, structured mouthfeel that lingers through a incredibly long, saline, and complex finish. Designed for extended cellaring, it continues to evolve beautifully in the bottle.
