Champagne Palmer & Co. Champagne Palmer & Co. Rosé Solera NV 750ml

A new cuvée from Palmer & Co is the NV Brut Rosé Solera, a lovely effort that includes some 8% Pinot Noir from a perpetual reserve. Pale in hue, it wafts from the glass with attractive and already complex aromas of fresh bread, red berries, spices, dried citrus peel and orange. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, with a nicely concentrated core of fruit, racy acids and a fine mousse, concluding with a saline finish.

Dry and satiny on the palate, this offers up-front notes of white raspberry, delicate herbs, fleur de sel and orange peel that are more subtle through to the finish. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Drink now. 80,000 cases made, 1,150 cases imported.
