The 2018 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido has a bigger core of dark fruit as well as lots of briny minerality, peppery herbs, and forest floor aromatics. Fermented with 35% stems and aged in just 30% new French oak, it just about screams Bien Nacido and is a great example of this vineyard. With plenty of structure, good acidity, and a great finish, it’s going to hit prime time with 3–4 years of bottle age and evolve for over a decade. (Jeb Dunnuck)

The 2018 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard opens with a burst of sweet red cherry fruit. Mountain flower, sweet spice, star anise and cinnamon add striking layers as the 2018 opens up in the glass.
