Critical Acclaim
The 2019 Tour Seran has a well-defined nose of blackberry, raspberry and wild heather scents, touches of graphite emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied, fleshy and lightly spiced toward the finish, with supple tannins, though it needs just a little more grip. (Neal Martin)
Aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, tobacco leaves, dried sage and incense. It’s medium-bodied with firm, fine tannins. There’s a fragrant, leafy edge to the finish. Fresh and linear. Merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot. Better in 2024. (James Suckling)
The 2019 Château Tour Seran is enjoyable, with a complex, perfumed nose of juicy red and blue fruits as well as floral and cedary nuances. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has supple tannins and good balance, and is already drinking nicely. It should keep for 7–8 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)
