The 2021 Chardonnay Mes Filles Vineyard comes from 25-year-old vines planted at 500 feet in altitude in Goldridge soils. It has inviting scents of allspice, white peach, quince and meringue with undertones of honey, roasted almonds and matchstick. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with layered flavors! It's balanced by vibrant freshness, and a gentle textural grip extends the finish. 260 cases were made.

The 2021 Chardonnay Mes Filles Vineyard is comlex and effusive. It shows all the linear intensity Ross Cobb seeks in his wine, but there is more aromatic breadth, a bit more mid-palate depth and, in my view, better balance. He achieves all of that here while still preserving notable energy and tension.
