Critical Acclaim
The 2023 Chianti Classico Bastioni dei Collazzi is a joy. Bold, punchy and super-expressive, the 2023 offers tons of immediacy and sheer allure. Succulent dark cherry and plum fruit open first, followed by hints of cedar and new leather that add complexity. The aromatic, floral close is quite attractive.
Impressive purity of fruit featuring fresh cherries and raspberries, complemented by rose hips, red spices, lavender and crushed stones. Bright and lively with medium body, firm yet lightly tight tannins and juicy acidity. The finish reveals a savory mineral note. Drink or hold.
