The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon - Carménère - Syrah Orgánico was aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Purple in the glass. The nose delivers blackberry and pepper notes over a bed of oak. Indulgent with fairly coarse tannins, the juicy palate leads into a long, fruity finish. A straightforwardly rewarding wine.

Black beans, dark olives and a touch of stewed leaves to the rich fruit. Fluid, fruity and a little leafy on the palate with a medium body and soft tannins. Simple finish with moderate length. 47% cabernet sauvignon, 32% carmenere and 21% syrah. From organically grown grapes with Ecocert certification. Drink now. Screw cap.

Cono Sur has 450 hectares of certified organic vineyards and a range of organic wines that includes a 2021 Organic Cabernet Sauvignon / Carmenere / Syrah blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Carmenere and 21% Syrah from Cauquenes, Chimbarongo, Peralillo, Maipo and Limarí, so they think of this as Chile in a glass. It matured for 12 months, 50% of the volume in used barrels and the other 50% in stainless steel. It has moderate ripeness, 13.5% alcohol and a medium-bodied palate with good freshness. It's straightforward, fruit-driven, quite light and easy to drink. 1.6 million bottles were produced from the same master blend.
