This is clear in color with a generally neutral aroma, but the palate is surprisingly full of anise flavor. It’s almost like a light gin, with grapefruit peel, coriander and ginger on the finish. Smooth and silky on the palate, it’s distilled from organic American grain. USDA certified organic.

Crystalline and silvery, but with minor sediment showing. I suspect that this vodka is made from a mix of corn, wheat and barley grains; the opening nosing passes detect strong and very dry notes of snack crackers (Wheat Thins, Triscuit, and the like); another six minutes of exposure to air coax out stony/mineral -like scents that interact well with the concentrated graininess; there’s some genuine substance here. Palate entry is more keenly sweet than the desert dry aroma and I like the unexpected switch in character; midpalate is sturdy, medium-weighted in texture, a touch drier than the entry stage and seriously tasty as a clean distillate. Ends on a grainy sweet note that’s balanced and understated. Excellent job here. Highly Recommended.
