Critical Acclaim

SP 93 Wine Spectator 2021 vintage October 31, 2024

A polished, creamy style, with enticing notes of plum sauce, blackberry preserves, melted licorice and dark cocoa that meld steadily through the loam-accented finish. Best from 2026 through 2036. 9,250 cases made. (James Molesworth)

JS 92 James Suckling 2021 vintage Saturday, July 27, 2024

Firm, dark-fruited and focused with aromas of dark cherries. dark plums, dried herbs, cedar and cloves. Well-balanced with a medium to full body and plush tannins. Generous and robust, with a creamy core of berries, herbs and spices on the palate and a flavorful finish with good persistence. Try after 2025. (James Suckling)

JS 92 James Suckling 2022 vintage

Earthy, smoky grilled plum aromas lead to juicy, deep and dark fruit flavors in this full-bodied, layered and appealing wine. Moderate tannins support black cherry, blueberry, cocoa and vanilla bean flavors. Well balanced for such a big wine. Drink now or hold.

JD 92 Jeb Dunnuck 2022 vintage 12/22/2025

Juicy cassis, graphite, tobacco, and some smoky, chocolaty notes all shine in the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, a medium to full-bodied, round, plump, nicely balanced 2022 that has solid mid-palate depth and ripe tannins. This seductive, sexy, fruit-loaded 2022 will drink well over the coming decade or more. Drink 2025-2035.

SP 89 Wine Spectator 2022 vintage August 2025

Dark and winey, with a core of steeped black currant and fig paste. The back end turns to espresso crema and bittersweet cocoa, plus a hint of walnut husk. Shows a bit of range and depth, but the vintages muted energy is in effect as well. Drink now through 2030. 9,822 cases made.
