The 2022 IGP Principaute d’Orange Viognier is another fine effort. Made in a combination of tanks and barriques, it’s floral, spicy and pineapple-scented, while remaining fresh and medium-bodied. Made from 100% Viognier brought up in used barrels, the 2022 Principauté D’Orange Viognier has a terrific bouquet of ripe peach, tangerine, and spicy, floral nuances, and it shows more minerality on the palate, where it’s medium-bodied, focused, and vibrant. (Jeb Dunnuck)
