In the glass, this classic Corsican red displays a bright garnet color with violet highlights. The nose opens with expressive aromatics of wild blackberry, dark cherry, crushed granite, smoky garrigue/maquis herbs, and cracked pepper. The palate exhibits a round, supple medium body with fresh acidity, grainy yet velvety light-medium tannins, and no effervescence. Fermented with ambient yeasts and aged in semi-underground concrete tanks without oak, it delivers pure wild berry fruit and savory earthiness through a clean, persistent finish. Offers drinking enjoyment upon release with medium-term cellar potential over 3 to 7 years.
