Deep violet-ruby in color, this single-terroir Beaujolais Cru opens with intense, stone-driven aromatics of wild blackberry, crushed blueberry, and violets, layered with crackling black pepper, peony, and a distinctive smoky mineral lift from the blue volcanic schist soils. The palate is dense, focused, and medium-bodied, framing a core of ripe dark berry fruit and savory herbs with fine-grained, structured tannins and vibrant, mouthwatering acidity. Vinified using traditional semi-carbonic maceration of old vines and matured entirely in century-old cement vats to preserve pure slate-mineral tension, it resolves into a long, crisp, and structured finish.
