Crafted from vines rooted in red soils, the 2023 Gigondas Promesse unfurls with aromas of licorice, dark berries and spices mingled with a delicate reduction. Medium- to full-bodied, round and sappy, it’s elegantly juicy with a structured tannic frame, concluding with a long, dark-berry–inflected finish. This is a blend of 80% Grenache Noir, 12% Mourvèdre and 8% Cinsault.
