Luminous amber-orange with golden reflections in the glass, this skin-contact Languedoc Chardonnay opens with intriguing aromatics of candied orange peel, quince, dried stone fruit, and delicate white blossoms underlaid by subtle savory tea leaf spice. The palate is dry, fresh, and textured, delivering flavors of tart green apple, citrus zest, and ripe apricot framed by a light-to-medium body and fine, chalky skin tannins. Vinified via whole-cluster carbonic maceration for one week on the skins and aged in stainless steel tanks, it maintains a crisp mineral drive, bright mouthwatering acidity, and a clean, refreshing, subtly spicy finish.
