Critical Acclaim

WE 92 Wine Enthusiast 2020 vintage

Thanks to being on the lees for two and a half years, honeyed, brioche aromas mingle with high-toned apple, pear, ginger and jasmine flower. The autolytic characters add some yeasty complexity. There's a lively lift of citrusy acidity, which, along with vigorous bubbles and a slippery texture, make this a highly classy, harmonious wine with all the facets of a delicious traditional method bubbly.

VN 92 Vinous 2020 vintage

The 2020 Blanc de Blanc is a broad, rich wine made in an oxidative style that highlights its sweet orchard fruit. Energetic and driven, the warmth of the 2020 growing season makes this feel sunny and enjoyably ripe. This is one of the finest sparkling wines I've tasted in the Finger Lakes.

JS 91 James Suckling 2021 vintage

A delicious, youthful sparkling chardonnay with excellent candied lemon and freshly baked white baguette aromas. Sleek and juicy, with a lively mousse and a vibrant lemony finish. Everything fits neatly, and this is just beginning to show its best. Disgorged April 2025. Drink or hold.

RP 91 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2021 vintage

All Chardonnay, the 2021 Blanc de Blanc was an April 25 disgorgement, bottled with a dosage of eight grams per liter. About 5% of the base wine was barrel-fermented, the rest was made in stainless steel. It's biscuity and fine, with apple skin and lemon-lime notes. Medium-bodied, it's fresh but creamy in feel, with a clean, crisp, lingering finish.
