Driopi Estate Driopi Nemea 2024 750ml

This is the estate’s “classic” Nemea. The Driopi 2024 Nemea Agiorgitiko is a fruit-forward wine with bright cherry, blackberry and blue flower. Agiorgitiko remains one of Greece’s leading indigenous red grapes, prized for its generous black fruit character and softly textured tannins. The wine is produced with a standard red vinification and a relatively short maceration period of five to six days before aging for eight to 10 months in French oak barrels, with first-, second- and third-use oak. The fruit comes from semi-mountainous vineyards in Koutsi in Nemea at 350 meters above sea level, where chalky clay soils help preserve freshness and structure. Production totals 70,000 bottles. This wine remains fresh, accessible and easy-drinking.
