The XXVI is filled to the brim with aromas and flavors of black cherries, dark chocolate, violets, vanilla and cedar. Toward the finish, there's also a forest floor-like note of dried oak leaves. This is a fuller-bodied wine with a texture as silky as its tannins.

Currants, new leather, graphite, and violet notes all emerge from the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon XXVI, a medium-bodied, focused, firmer Cabernet Sauvignon that has good overall balance, ripe yet firm tannins, and outstanding length. The cellar should be your friend here, so I would hide bottles for 2-4 years, and it should drink nicely over the following decade or so.
