This organic wine is a swirl of pink rose petal, raspberry blossom, red plum and crushed pomegranate in a glass. Velvety tannins open on the attack and gently caress soft black fruit on the nose that glides into forest floor and dried cranberry that swims in a lake of white flower blossom. Drink now with pasta dishes, appetizer courses and anything grilled.

Deep violet in the glass, this wine has aromas of black cherry and freshly ground espresso. Coffee continues onto the palate alongside hearty tannins and notes of blackberry, Mission fig and caramel, with a hint of dried oregano. (Mike DeSimone)

The 2024 Chianti Classico is a soft, easygoing wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Dark Sangiovese fruit, leather, tobacco and spicecake are nicely pushed forward.
