About This Wine
Producer Notes
Ripe black fruit with vanilla tone; very interesting. Refreshing with a pure redcurrant vein piercing through. Fleshy, sweet, and smooth with grainy ripe tannins to support. Well balanced and attractive.
Critical Acclaim
Fragrant and zesty, with an overtone of cigar box spices, this lively red integrates fine tannins with flavors of ripe red and black currant, dried cranberry and black tea leaf, showing hints of candied violet and singed orange peel. Deep violet in the glass, this wine has aromas of black cherry and freshly ground espresso. Coffee continues onto the palate alongside hearty tannins and notes of blackberry, Mission fig and caramel, with a hint of dried oregano. (Mike DeSimone)
