This maritime favorite is produced in a series of stills unique to El Dorado and in comprised of a blend of rums matured at least 15 years in 45-gallon oak casks. The Special Reserve has a burnished gold appearance, a floral, spice and leather bouquet and a slightly smoky palate with notes of vanilla, fruit and toffee on the finish. It tastes more expensive than its modest $30 price tag would suggest.
