About This Wine

Producer Notes

An expressive nose of nectarine, white flower and candied orange peel introduces this expansive, crisp wine with fresh flavors of fig, white cherry, and cantaloupe alongside an orange peel pithiness, ginger and lemon thyme.

Critical Acclaim

WE 92 Wine Enthusiast 2024 vintage

Always a standard bearer, the latest Pinot Gris from Elk Cove is excellent. Fresh-grated lemon zest and orange blossom aromas are accented by a wee bit of wet slate. The wine, which was whole-cluster pressed and cold fermented in small stainless steel tanks, possesses flavors ranging from grapefruit lightly sprinkled in sugar to a green apple gummy bear.

WE 91 Wine Enthusiast 2024 vintage

Year in, year out, you can always count on this Pinot Gris to deliver quality and refreshment. This year's model leads with ripe pear, butter cookie and sage aromas, then follows up with pear, peach, orange zest and honeycomb flavors. A lean, crisp mouthfeel and a healthy level of acidity perk things up.

SP 91 Wine Spectator 2024 vintage

A white with verve and vibrancy, this features accents of orange blossoms, nectarine and cantaloupe that sail on the finish. Drink now. 16,019 cases made.

RP 90 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2024 vintage

The 2024 Pinot Gris was blended with 4% Gewürztraminer and 2% Muscat and fermented in stainless steel. It has understated aromas of peach, apricot, bread dough and spice. The medium-bodied palate is concentrated, textural and savory with gently honeyed flavors. Bright acidity balances 3.6 grams of residual sugar, and it has a long, flavorful finish. 21,430 cases produced.

SP 89 Wine Spectator 2024 vintage December 2025

Delicate and pretty, with floral peach, lemon and honeysuckle tones that linger. Drink now. 21,430 cases made.
