Eradus Eradus Sauvignon Blanc 2024 750ml

The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is juicy, mouthwatering, clean and bright, with plenty of succulent fruit flavors reminiscent of gooseberry, elderflower and blackcurrant rather than tropical notes. This vineyard is in the cooler, windier Awatere, which explains things. There's also an herbal character that reminds me of fennel, but the wine is not green. It is fully ripe and has a lightly creamy texture before finishing things off crisp and clear. (RG)

The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is aromatically restrained, with a palate loaded with tropical fruit, passion fruit, peppery leafy greens and white spice. This is a crunchy, vibrant wine with plenty of compelling fruit to enjoy. It's lovely—classy. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Fresh, bright, young and fruity, peach, passionfruit and pineapple aromas commence. There's just a flicker of the green pungency of this style. It's a little searing at first sip, but shows nice balance of texture and fruit. Ideally, give this several more months in bottle.
