The organic Feudo Montoni NV Passito Bianco (in a 375-milliliter bottle) is a blend of 80% Grillo and 20% Catarratto. Fruit is air-dried to produce the richness and sweetness you taste here. The wine opens to a bright orange color with golden highlights, and it's fatty and rich on the mid-palate, with heavy layers of apricot, dried prune and brown sugar. This is a tiny production of 1,550 bottles.

The NV Bianco Passito is exotic in the glass, with a tropical air of citrus and florals. Soothingly soft and round, it splashes across the palate with minty herbal freshness and a wave of ripe peaches and green melon, all balanced by candied citrus. It cleans up quite well, finishing with a potent saturation of sweet spice.
