About This Wine
Producer Notes
Bright and easy. Cherry and plum up front, baking spice underneath, smooth all the way through. The kind of Pinot you pour without overthinking. Firesteed's flagship wines carry the Clean Label Project Purity Award — independent, third-party verification that places them in the Best Third of wines tested for purity. Each certified wine is screened for 200+ contaminants — heavy metals, pesticides, glyphosate, plasticizers — by Ellipse Analytics, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab. Results published, no fine print.
Critical Acclaim
This Firesteed punches above its price point with fresh aromas of tart raspberries, violets and earthy, edge of the stream cattails. Flavors that include cherries and a saline/savory note similar to bone broth will pair nicely with a bowl of cassoulet. The wine's elevated acidity intersects with velvety tannins.
A strawberry popsicle aroma, complete with the wooden stick, dominates the wine's sidekick aromas of black pepper and a meaty note similar to venison jerky. I quite enjoyed the wine's crisp acidity, which highlighted its flavors of red cherries, cola, nutmeg and black tea. This wine represents the kind of strong value that will ably fuel large gatherings and tailgate parties.
