Zesty lemon, lime, and green herb aromas mingle with citrus blossoms and cinnamon on the nose of this Chardonnay. The palate delivers a surge of vibrant acidity and pithy texture, with flavors of green apple, Meyer lemon, toasted hazelnut, and chopped lemon balm echoing for over a minute.

Bright saline notes drive through a core of lemon peel, white pepper, slate, chalk and mint. This steely, beautifully persistent Chardonnay is a winner.

The 2024 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) is a terrific introduction to the range. Apricot, white flowers, mint, white pepper and tangerine oil are nicely pushed forward. The warmer season yielded an especially forward, open-knit Chardonnay. It's a style that works quite well at this level.
